The Salt Lake County Homeless Coordinating Council’s

Community of Case Managers (COCM)

 

Mission: A format for case managers and case workers that assist the homeless populations in Salt Lake City and the surrounding areas to meet and share information on

community resources.

 

Background:  Inspired by focus groups conducted by the DWS and coordinated by volunteer case managers, these meetings have been held regularly since May 2007

and hosted by various agencies.  As of November 2008 these meetings are now under the direction of Utah Continuum of Care and The Salt Lake County Homeless

Host:  Major James Sullivan, Operations Director of the Salvation Army SLC-UT

 

Lunch:           Brown-bag.  Water will be available.

 

Meeting:     In coordination with the Salt Lake Interfaith Roundtable and Interfaith Week 2009, www.utahfaiths.org/slc  information will be presented about the homeless

services and resources provided by the various faith-base organizations in Salt Lake City.

These meetings are a great way to find out about resources in the community that will help both agencies and clients. 

 

All case managers and case workers that assist the homeless population in Utah are welcome to attend.
